The countdown to going back home is down to 16 days, and people on the doulos I would say are pretty familiar with goodbyes because people come and go so often. And when you live, work, eat and play with them, you just will get to know people well, and when they leave, we are all very sadden but I guess it does not stay long with us.
Like people are now all starting to whip out their memory books and asking others to write in them, and also preparing cards for those who are leaving. I also sent off someone today, and as usual there was a long line waiting for their turn to hug and say their goodbyes.
I stayed on the ship for the whole day today again, doing up some personal admin, then going to work, which was rather ok, we had a good crowd considering that it is a weekday, and there was a constant flow of people.
Tomorrow we are going to Sutra Harbour Resort to use their facilities, you might know that the owner of that hotel is also a Singaporean. Nice, he has let out some of the facilities like the pool for us to use, and we also get a 50% discount on the food there. But it is still a up scale resort so things are not that cheap still. Haha. But I heard from those who went today that it is really nice and the food was good. So we will see what happens tomorrow.
Time for bed. Good Nights.
